Serial Port Platform Service
This driver enables serial port services for Niagara 4 Supervisor, allowing direct integration of serial devices — now with full BACnet MS/TP support.
The unified driver runs on Windows (32/64-bit) and Linux (32/64-bit), and is prepared for macOS 64-bit when officially supported by Tridium. It uses native platform serial port naming on Linux and macOS instead of generic COM labels, eliminating guesswork and simplifying configuration and deployment.
Please note: modules that utilize the serial port, such as Modbus or BACnet MS/TP, require separate licensing from Tridium.
The driver is supported on Windows 32/64 bit and Linux 32/64 using Niagara Supervisor 4.

Question: How do I license this product ?
Answer: You will receive a mail with activation code. You will then activate your license using your host-id and activation code using web portal.
Question: Is this driver also supported for Niagara AX ?
Answer: We have a version for AX as well. If there is enough requests for this, we will release it on the portal.
Question: How main serial ports can I connect ?
Answer: There is no license limit.
