CSV Driver

CSV driver allows you to create data points for receiving status information from 3rd systems to Niagara. The driver periodically reads the CSV file from a defined directory, where each line of the file represents one status information.

The Tridium Niagara driver allows to automatically read CSV file and create Niagara data points based on the file content. This way is possible to synchronize Niagara logic with any 3rd party system capable of cyclically exporting status or values data into a CSV file.

The driver acts as a bridge from any reservation system to Niagara. A specific example is switching the heating mode of hotel rooms according to whether they are free, checked-in, or occupied.
