ERS 1000 is a compact operator panel for room functions such as lighting, shading, and temperature settings. It features intuitive operation thanks to a color display and push buttons. It measures room climate data by extension with a sensor module.
The device is directly connected to the LAN and powered via Ethernet. The driver can be used on a Niagara controller as well as a supervisor.
All setup and individual configuration activities are performed via the Niagara Workbench. Putting into operation is fast and easy by means of automatic device discovery and a device template that is part of the driver package.

Question: How many data point licenses are consumed by integrating the room operator panel?
Answer: Each actor that is controlled by the operator panel requires one data point. E.g., the device can switch up to 10 lights individually and this requires one data point for each light. If a sensor module is connected to the ERS 1000, each individual sensor consumes an additional data point.
Question: How fast are the response times of the operator panel?
Answer: The driver for ERS 1000 works event based. The events are sent via Ethernet to the controller which results in response times in the order of some 10 milliseconds.
Question: How do I configure the ERS 1000 for the specific requirements of a room?
Answer: The device template has an input mask where configuration fields are filled with short CSV lists according to the user manual.
