What is the Training Like?
Our Master Technician Certificate Program consists of 90+ hours of online training, accompanied by exercises, knowledge checks, and how-to checklists. You will begin by learning how to engineer complete systems, from there you will gain mastery of all things IT, you will then study to gain a complete understanding of BAS Protocols, and finally you will complete the path by learning methods and approaches to complex troubleshooting.Â
This program compresses a decade of field experience into 90 days or less of intense, self-paced online training. You will also be supported by our discussion forums and weekly live office hours.Â

1. BAS Hardware Sizing & Selection Bootcamp - DES200 will teach students:
- Understand all types of I/O, how and when to select each
- How to design controls architectures
- How to engineer complete control systems
2. Information Technology for BAS Professionals - BASIT100 provides hands-on experience with:
- Networks
- Servers
- Databases
- APIs
- Cybersecurity
3. BAS Protocol Bootcamp - BAS210 provides an understanding of:
- BACnet
- Lon
- Modbus
4. Troubleshooting BAS Systems - BAS330 covers how to troubleshoot:
- BAS, IT, and HVAC systems
- Resistive, voltage, and current inputs
- Controller configurations
- Serial network wiring and setup
- BAS Servers and web servers
- Databases
- Firewalls and ACLs
- Systems and devices for VAVs
- Control systems for Chillers

Answer: Upon receiving your login credentials, you have 365 days of access to the course.
Question: Question: What happens after I purchase the course?
Answer: Upon registering for one of our training programs our support team will contact you to setup your training account.  Once you are in the course you will find a guided course workbook that will guide you through the lessons.  You will have access to online forums and weekly office hours during which you can ask questions of your instructor. To earn your course certificate, you will need to view all lessons, complete module quizzes, and the final course exam.Â
