Overview

S7 driver allows the direct integration of Siemens S7 controllers into the Niagara system.

The S7 series PLCs are very widespread devices, and our driver runs on dozens of installations throughout Europe.

The Tridium Niagara driver allows connecting to Siemens S7 PLC via native S7 protocol over ethernet. The S7 PLC could be upgraded with Niagara graphics or integrated with various BMS protocols supported by Niagara.

The driver provides support for communication with Siemens PLC's S300, S400, and S1200 series over native S7 Ethernet protocol. The driver reads data from the DB part of memory. Supported data formats are Bit, Word, Short, Double Word, Double Int, Float, Date, String, and Printable String.

Requirements

Niagara Supervisor or JACE connected via LAN to the S7 PLC.
It is assumed that the user is trained in the use of Niagara 4 and is familiar with the Siemens S7 PLCs.
Knowledge of application in PLC or description of data points.
You must read the End User License Agreement before using this software.
