The license is perpetual from purchase.
Note, the product has an inbuilt software maintenance agreement (SMA). The product will be licensed to support the current release of N4 and the next release of N4. For example, a new purchase will support N4.12 & N4.13 only. The license will also cover previous version of N4, for example N4.10.
Any future upgrades (for example, to N4.14) will require an SMA upgrade to be purchased.
